Week 3 - Animatic TIME!!

Week THREE already! Almost halfway through.. but still so much to do... This week we focused on finalizing our character rigs and storyboard cleanup. All of our character models are close to being weight painted. The fish is is being rotopo-ed and then rigged, our squirrel will be receiving a face rig, and the bird's skin is being painted. Lots of incredible progress on our characters!

Elfis' rig is coming along and will have a new face rig and skin weights hopefully within the next week or two.

Our storyboards are complete and the animatic is put together!! Our director is now talking to a music man that will be able to put together our amazing, adventure packed soundtrack! After putting together the animatic entirely, our team discussed a few changes that we feel will benefit the film. These will be discussed with the Break and our professor in the upcoming week.

We also have more visual development in process. Our team is trying to figure out what type of house Elfis would live in and how that contrasts to the environment around him. Lots of exciting progress!!
